Exterior
Design
The 2025
Toyota GR86 gets a new look, with a wider front grille and honeycomb insert
sitting below a set of swept LED headlights that give it a menacing face. The
Hakone Edition returns with its stunning forest green metallic paint and gold
painted wheels for a head-turning look. And as always, the long hood and short
deck proportions are classic two-door sports car, and new wheel designs
complete the head-turning new looks.
Interior
Design
The
interior of the 2025 Toyota GR86 shows a marked improvement over the outgoing
model, with deeply bolstered seats that hold you comfortably in place. The
design itself is still simple, but upscale materials, a focus on tech, and
improved ergonomics make it a truly enjoyable car to drive.
Performance
A 2.0-liter
Boxer engine sits under the hood and shows much improved performance over the
previous 86 powertrain. At 228 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque out of
the box, this rear-wheel drive sports car gives you enough punch to have fun without
putting you out of your element. Plus, Toyota took a fresh crack at chassis
tuning, power steering, and throttle mapping to give you an even more engaging
drive.
Technology
A new
digital instrument cluster takes center stage in the 2025 GR86, putting a
wealth of information at your fingertips with customizable views. The
infotainment display gets a major update as well, boasting much-improve
responsiveness and native smartphone integrations for a truly seamless
experience.
Safety
The 2025
Toyota GR86 comes with a suite of intelligent safety features including
pre-collision braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and
automatic high beams. You'll also get rear parking sensors with automatic
transmission models, plus reverse automatic braking.
