Clearly, the new, redesigned 2025 Toyota 4Runner boasts an entirely new design, with new LED lighting, more aggressive front end design, and a higher stance. You’ll find similar proportions to the old model, though a wider stance and shorter overhangs means more off-road capability out of the box.

There are now two engine options available in the 2025 Toyota 4Runner; a turbocharged four-cylinder google for 278 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque, and a hybrid that chucks out a total of 326 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. With both you’ll get 4x4 capability with a two-speed transfer case for optimized off-roading. And available TRD Pro and Trailhunter packages include all-terrain tires, underbody protection, a higher ride height with rugged off-road shocks, and more.
