The 2022 Toyota Tundra is completely new for the first time in over 13 years, and that means you can forget everything you know about the biggest pickup in the Toyota lineup. This all-new '22 Toyota Tundra is easily the most capable vehicle in the new Toyota lineup, and Mountain States Toyota is thrilled to show it off for all Denver drivers to explore.

New Powertrain

The classic V8 engine of old is gone, and the 2022 Toyota Tundra now features a 3.4-liter twin-turbo V6 engine under the hood instead. This new setup gives you more performance than the outgoing V8, clocking in at up to 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. There is also a hybrid option that boosts performance to 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque, and all are sent through a 10-speed automatic transmission on the way to the wheels. Efficiency gets a bump as well, offering up to 20 mpg city and 24 mpg on the highway. Prior Tundra models only achieved up to 17 mpg while highway driving, and city economy struggled to reach 13 mpg, so the new setup is a major improvement to your fuel economy.

Striking Design

The chrome-clad bumpers and grille of the outgoing Toyota Tundra had become a bit dated when compared to the competition, and the 2022 Toyota Tundra addresses that with an aggressive downturned grille with black honeycomb inserts and simple chrome accents. It’s flanked by redesigned LED headlights as well, providing a unique signature that is sure to help you stand out.
