- You can get a CPO Toyota but not a car seat. Avoid renting a car seat because you are unaware of its history.
- Do a “pinch and inch test”. Pinch the car seat strap by your child’s shoulder and wiggle the car seat around a bit. If anything budges, tighten things up.
- The summers are hot and air conditioning is cool, but you should never put towels or blankets between your child and the car seat.
- The car seat buckle can get incredibly hot. Open the windows or turn on the air before letting your child get in the seat.
- Secure all loose items in the event of a crash.
